Why For Leo?

My grandmother's nickname was Leo. She had this quiet way of making everything she created feel special. She would create hand sewn pieces, a beautifully made gown, she cooked delicious scones and she was also known to create macrame plant pot holders and have them dangling on the ceiling. When she passed, I found myself wanting to hold onto that feeling somehow. So I picked up a needle and thread, and For Leo was born.

What started as a way to process grief slowly became something more. This business being built around the same values she lived by. Patience, care, and making things by hand instead of rushing them. Every tote, embroidery piece and tract folder I create, carries a little of her memory, and a lot of love.
